Willkommen bei PSWT!
Welcome to the website of the research and teaching alliance applied software engineering (Praktische Softwaretechnik)!
“Software is eating the world,” says Marc Andreessen, original co-developer of Mosaic and Netscape Navigator, two ground-breaking web browsers. If you want to learn how to build software, you have come to the right place.
Software engineering is the discipline of developing, evolving, and operating quality software systems that serve its users and other stakeholders well. At many universities, software engineering is its own Bachelor or Master degree program, typically in the computer science department. At FAU, software engineering is taught within the general informatics degree program of the computer science department and exported to many other departments.
